Interesting Week
It’s been a good past week or so with visitor numbers climbing and product sales starting to come in.
Most of the traffic has been from The Warrior Forum which I am new to but getting very keen on. I don’t surf forums normally but I find this one very interesting. Actually it is addictive so I am trying to resist spending too much time there.
I launched my “Lead Capture System Secrets” product in their WSO (Warrior Special Offers) section and so far made 6 sales which is nice. This will run for another 2 weeks and then the product will only be available at the standard price.
The pages on this site don’t carry many popular keywords yet, so I haven’t noticed much search engine traffic. However I have been getting traffic from my comments on blogs. This is a great way to get your site noticed.
My site name AdsCube is very easy to brand.
For fun, I mentioned the games arcade on the Warrior Forum and some members enjoyed playing them. Alas, one sad killjoy was only interested in advertising his site PHPSuccessTools.com, so rather than play any games, he just wanted to know how to intercept the high scores (I didn’t want to tell him) and soon he had found a hacking script and began throwing a tantrum by editing the scores and posting abusive text. I think he can’t stand anyone else invading his turf on the forums. What a sad loser!
This is one of the problems with forums, you get all types from psycho’s to people that can end up being a long term friend.
Interestingly, I am going to receive a $2,000 value Christmas present from James Brausch (he made some crazy 24 hour offer for this free gift which I gladly signed up for), he hates forums and was banned from the Warrior Forum for ruffling too many feathers. I only ruffled 1 feather so far
For the games, I think I closed this loop hole and discovered some neat ways to thwart attackers like Neil/him. I won’t bother with any revenge, it’s pointless.
After my product sales, I am confident in my sales process, it runs smoothly on autopilot. I noticed many warriors were staying up all night refreshing web pages and manually emailing orders. So they need my system. Another product idea.
To cut down time in checking blogs, I started bookmarking them in FireFox by way of subscribing to feeds. So now it is very easy to do quick checks for new posts rather than waste time visting the blogs to check.
Another thing that I do that may interest you is to use PaintShop Pro to take snapshots of well designed sites or graphical elements for later reference while I am on the web. I save the images to a Scrap Book folder.
Also, I have a Text file folder on my desktop where I store simple text files of notes I make. I find paper notes become messy and get lost.
That’s all for now, thank you for your interest…
