Welcome to the Directory and Submit Site Demo

This is a demonstration of my method of implementing a Link Directory powered by WordPress.
In the sidebar you will notice a “Directory” page link. Clicking on this will take you to the example Directory.
Near the end of the list of categories is a link to the “Submit Site” page. This is just for demonstration purposes, so submitted sites will not be added here.
Once set up, it is easy to manage the directory from the WordPress Admin panel and accept suggested sites using this system.
It works by using PHP code in a custom page template to associate Blogroll entries with the Pages of the Directory.
